HAVE YOU RELEASED YOUR ARROWS?

Are you really going to DO it?

Are you really going to DO it?

A man is hungry and desires food to keep him going on. The forest is dark and full of obstacles but he is determined to push forward. He senses a difference in the air and stops. His experience tells him that he is not alone. He waits and then there is a soft sound. He takes out his bow and pulls an arrow from his bag. He sets the arrow into the bow and waits patiently. Then, right ahead of him, two rabbits emerge from the bushes.

What needs to happen next?

• Desires (no matter how strong and real) cannot produce outcomes – it is merely a driver
• Mental strength alone will not give tangible outcomes – it serves as a disciplinary factor
• Intellect (meaning intelligence) does not necessarily generate outcomes – it is only a resource
• Opportunity does not always guarantee outcomes – it is just a chance

So – what happens next?

He has to take aim and release the arrow from the bow – without this action, there will be no outcome!
